DIY Dreamcatcher Using a Bangle

In this post you'll learn how to make a dreamcatcher using old bangles. This DIY bangle dreamcatcher is easy to make and it's a great way to reuse old bangles. It also looks really cute!

You will need:

bangle
yarn of any color
scissors
anything you would like to put on your dreamcatcher like lace, feathers or ribbon

1. Tie the end of a long piece of yarn in a knot on the bangle and make sure you leave some extra yarn because you're going to need it later.

2. Wrap the yarn all the way around the bangle. To make this easier wrap the yarn into a ball.

3. Once your done wrapping the yarn you want to tie the end of the yarn into a knot onto the leftover yarn from the first knot and you can also cut off any extra yarn.

4. Take another piece of yarn and tie it into a loop so then you hang your dreamcatcher.

5. For the web of dreamcatcher you can take another piece of yarn and you want to tie it into a knot on the bangle.

6. Take the yarn and make a loop and then you want to go around the bangle and pull the yarn through the loop and then you want to tighten the loop. You want to make the same loops all the around the bangle.

7. Once you've gone around the bangle the first time you want to start making the loops on the yarn and you want to continue doing the same loops until you reach the middle of the web of the dreamcatcher.

8. When you get to the middle of the dreamcatcher you want to tie a knot where you would like the web to end and then you can cut off any extra pieces of yarn.

9. Then you can layout put anything onto the dreamcatcher like lace, ribbon or feathers.

A way you can put lace and ribbon onto the dreamcatcher is by folding the ribbon or lace in half and then you can place it underneath the bangle and then you can pull the rest of the lace or ribbon through the loop.

and that's how you make a dreamcatcher out of a bangle!
